This article will show you how to create a Virtual Machine on Hyper-V R2 using the Hyper-V Manger which is installed automatclly when you install the Hyper-V role.
To access the Hyper-V manger go to Adminstrative Tools -> Hyper-V Manager.
From the Hyper-V Manager Right Click on the Hyper-V server or use the Action menu to create a new Virtual Machine.
Name you VM and select where you want to store it
Assign Ram Memory
Select Network connection to connect the VM to
Configure the Virtual Hard Disk settings.
Configure O/S Installation setting.
Click Finish.
