Microsoft Edge has great capabilities regarding performance, security and customisations. One thing that can be annoying is the default start-up page that shows news and content. To disable news and content from showing up, follow these steps.
Disable Edge Content
Open Microsoft Edge
Click on Settings -> Scroll down to Content.
Set the Content option to Content off.
Once changed, news and content will not show up when starting Microsoft Edge.
