Released Today: Exchange Server 2016 Cumulative Update 4 (CU4)

Today Microsoft announced the release of Exchange Server 2016 CU4 which Is available to download now.
This main features of this update are:

  • New Outlook on the web (OWA) compose experience
  • Support for .Net 4.6.2
  • No need to Install the entire desktop experience as a pre-requisites
  • Fix for IIS crash after configuring new DAG
  • Latest time zone updates

    I installed cu4 today (newly installed Ex2016 with no CU’s installed before on W2016 Server). But on step 6 from 18 the installation process hangs with the following error: Error Code 1603: ‘the installer has encoutered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code ist 2337.’
    Has anyone seen this error (and a solution for that)?

    Since CU3 was released, many online resources recommended waiting until the w3wp.exe error were fixed. With CU4 now out, are we good to install Exchange Server 2016 on Windows Server 2016?
