It been a while since I have done a VMware article but I think this one Is a must, This article will show you how to enable copy paste between a Virtual Machine and the VMware vSphere Console.
By default this feature Is disabled.
To enable It shut down the Virtual Machine.
From the Virtual Machine click on the VM -> Edit Settings…
Click Options -> General -> Configuration Parameters…
Click on Add Row Add the two Parameters to the list using.
isolation.tools.copy.disable false
isolation.tools.paste.disable false
Restart VM
