How To Add Users To Local Admin Group Using Group Policy Windows Server 2012

This article will show you how to add uses to the Local Administrator built In group on all the computers using Group Policy on Windows Server 2012.

To do it open group policy editor and create or edit existing GPO:

Go to User Configuration -> Preferences -> Control Panel Settings -> Local users and groups -> right Click -> New ->Local Group

In the New Local Group menu select the group name you need to add users to and use Add… button to add the domain users or group to the selected group above.
