Managing IOS devices using Intune involved many times pushing policies and removing them on without waiting for the normal sync to happen.
Today, I will show you how I force a manual sync from the Microsoft Intune portal to an IOS device and sync the device.
By default, an IOS device will sync with Intune every 6 hours which in some cases is in ideal when we are doing testing or needing to push a policy to a group of devices.
Get Started
Below I will show you how I do it, From the Azure Portal I open the Intune console
Click on Devices
From the device list, I will select my IOS iPhone device
In the device properties, I will click on Sync to start the manual sync process
And click yes to confirm that I want to sync my device
Below you can see that the sync started
