In this blog post, I will show you how to configure Microsoft Intune and manage Android devices.
Microsoft Intune is an MDM platform that is not limited to Windows devices.
With Intune MDM capabilities, we can enrol Android devices and manage them using policies.
Get Started
Before we can enrol Android devices to Intune, we need first to configure Google Play.
To configure Google Play to work with Intune, open the Intune management console – > Devices -> Enroll Devices -> Android
Click on the Managed Google Play link
From the Managed Google Play screen, Click on Launch Google to connect now.
Type your business name and click next.
To complete the registration, click on Complete Registration
Back to the Android screen in Intune, you will see a green tick next to the organization.
From the Android screen, we can now create restrictions regarding the device limit.
To enrol devices, simply download the Company Portal app from the Google play store and ask the user to sign in with their Azure AD account.
