Manage Nano Server Using Azure Server Management Tools

Following my previous article about the Azure Server Management Tools I’m posting another article In the serious.

This article will show you how to add a Nano server to Azure Server Management Tools service.

Click Here to read the first article where I explained about the Azure Server Management Tools, and don’t forget to Install the Gateway first.

If you are adding a Nano Server that Is not part of a domain run this cmdlet from the Gateway server first.

winrm set winrm/config/client '@{ TrustedHosts="Server IP Address" }'

From the Portal go to Server Management tools and click on add

Note: If your Nano Server Is not part of the domain user the IP ADDRESS not the HOST name

Fill in the Nano Server Details and select the Gateway Server

Click to add credential

Done, Now you can manage you Nano Server

And the best part Is that you can control your Nano Server directly from the PowerShell Console.
