This article will show you how to force the removal of a DAG member from a DAG.
This can be a life saving cmdlet as in some cases the removal of a DAG member fails and the DAG goes offline and all databases dismounted automatically and the only way to mount them back is by removing the DAG member from the DAG.
To force remove a DAG member from a DAG ope the Exchange EMS and type:
Remove-DatabaseAvailabilityGroupServer -Identity DAGNAME -MailboxServer MBXSERVER –ConfigurationOnly
