This article will show you how to add a new Chassis to Cisco UCS manager using Cassis Discovery Policy and configuring a server port.
To add a new Chassis we will use a Global Policy that set a minimum number of links to connect the Cisco UCS 6200 Interconnects and the IOM modules inside the Chassis.
To Start the Policy open UCS Manager -> Equipment -> Policies -> Global Policies
This how the default policy looks like, Set up the policy according to your setup.
Connect the SPF cables to the IOM modules and start the Chassis.
Once everything is connected and powered on, go to the Fabric Interconnect and select the ports that are connected to the IOM and set them to be Server Port (very important)
