This KB will show how to change Exchange Server 2013 Mail Queue Database location.
By default the Exchange mail queue is located:
%ExchangeInstallPath%TransportRoles\data\Queue
To change the location of the database we need to go to the configuration file located on:
%ExchangeInstallPath%Bin\EdgeTransport.exe.config
Edit the file EdgeTransport.exe.config:
Change the default settings from:
To the below:
When completed restart the transport service:
Restart-service “Microsoft Exchange Transport”
